Gun Raffle Rules

 

1. A limit of 500 tickets will be allocated to this raffle; numbering 0001 to 500.

2. One ticket will be provided per each $20.00 donation to 82nd Airborne Division Association; All tickets are non- refundable, including those where a winner’s background check fails to pass.

3. Last day to obtain tickets is August 13, 2016 or when all tickets are sold out.

4. Drawing of winning ticket will be done on August 13, 2016 after the All American Banquet.

5. Gun is new with custom lower receiver.  No custom calibers or designs are included.

6. In the event the winning ticket holder is not present at the drawing on August 13, 2016, the winning ticket and  winner name will be posted on 82nd Airborne Division Association, Kentucky Chapter website – www.kyairborne.org.

7. The winners name will be posted however, no other information about the winner will be made public.

8.  By obtaining a raffle ticket you attest that you are a US citizen with no criminal record of good moral character,  may legally possess the gun(s) won, have intention of using the gun(s) only in a legal and safe manner, and will or  have already obtained instruction on the safe use and operation of the gun(s) won.

9. All guns won have been purchased from Sherwood Armory LLC,

10. Proceeds benefit the 82nd Airborne Division Association, a non-profit charitable organization.

11. You must be at least 21 years old and a legal resident of the United States to obtain a ticket. Winners must be at  least 21 years old to take possession of the firearms and successfully pass applicable background checks.

12.  This raffle is void where prohibited.

13.  All Federal Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) rules apply.

14. All firearm transfers will be done through a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer, and all applicable Federal and  State laws will apply, including the state laws for the legal residence of winning ticket holders.

15. A selected FFL dealer will be solely responsible for all transfers. All winning ticket holders must make gun transfers  through a Federally License Firearms dealer in accordance with all applicable laws.

16. In the event winners need or wish to have the gun(s) and/or ammunition won transferred to their local FFL dealer  closer to their residence, shipping and any other additional costs involved with the transfer will be the  responsibility of the winner, and arrangements must be made directly between the winner and FFL dealer selected  by the Kentucky Airborne Chapter.

17. Winners may be required to verify that ownership of the gun(s) won is legal in their state, city or town, prior to  taking possession of gun(s) won.

18. Winners will be notified, using the name, address, phone number, and e-mail address that the winner has written  on the ticket stub.  In the event that the Association is unable to contact the winner it is the sole responsibility for  the winning ticket holder to contact the Kentucky Airborne Chapter to claim their gun.

19. In the event the winner cannot be contacted within 30 days of the drawing, a second drawing will occur.  In the  event the second winner cannot be contacted within 30 days, subsequent drawings will be conducted until a  winner is selected.

20. Tickets and Guns are not transferable; the person designated on the ticket must claim the gun.

21. ALL GUNS MUST BE CLAIMED AND TRANSFER COMPLETED WITHIN 90 DAYS OF THE SCHEDULED DATE THE  TICKET IS DRAWN.

22. Any guns not claimed will become the property of HFJ.

23. HFJ makes no warranty of firearms; winners will deal directly with manufacturer if a problem arises or through  .

24. HFJ limits any and all liability to the purchase price of ticket obtained.
